The College of Science and Liberal Arts comprises seven departments offering 9 undergraduate majors, 14 minors in subjects ranging from philosophy to applied ethics, in addition to 11 graduate majors and 6 doctoral degrees.

Teacher Certification Option

This innovative opportunity allows students interested in earning a degree at NJIT and wish to pursue a teaching career to take the courses required to apply for teacher certification in New Jersey while they are pursuing their chosen majors.

Continuing Professional Education Options

Through the Division of Continuing Professional Education, NJIT offers Graduate Certificate programs comprised of 4 classes (12 credits).  These certificates are established for adult professionals to use as a stand alone credential or as a springboard into a Master’s program.
