AFROTC stands for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is one of the ways that young men and women become officers in the U.S. Air Force.

There are three major ways to become an Air Force Officer: The Air Force Academy, Officer Training School, and Air Force ROTC. Only Air Force ROTC offers you a chance to get your degree from one of nearly 800 colleges and universities and receive a commission when you graduate. For more information, please visit the web site Air Force ROTC. You may also call Air Force ROTC Detachment 490, New Jersey Institute of Technology at (973) 596-3626.
