The Jay Kappraff Award for Excellence in Science & the Arts Award was established in honor of Dr. Jay Kappraff, who joined NJIT’s Department of Mathematical Sciences in 1974. The award celebrates individuals who exemplify the experimental spirit necessary in work that connects the sciences and the arts.
