The Spirit of “Doc” Award is given to honor an undergraduate student whose scholarship and service demonstrate a commitment to the core values of a liberal arts education as espoused by Dr. Herman ("Doc") Estrin, NJIT Professor of English '46-'81; Professor Emeritus '81-'99.
